My Office Trading Setup

The trading platform/software I use is not heavy, and even a normal PC can handle good executions. However, I built my system with scalability in mind.

I have my small Trading office. Trading is my small business and you should also treat it the same way.

You should make sure that you are using a graphics card and a system that can support a minimum of 3-4 screens. (How you set your trading systems is a personal choice. For minimum requirements to start, check “My Travel Setup”, you can use the same setup, to start your trading journey)

I have a six-monitor desktop setup with a ViVo auto-standing desk.

Below is my system configuration :

I have Processor AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core / 16 Thread.

Graphic Card:  I have 2 PNY Quadro K1200 Graphic Cards Installed each can connect 4 screens.  I have 6 screens, so I still have options to add more screens without any problem. But do you need that many screens, No. Max 4 screens are good.  I don’t want to use my laptop, so I installed dedicated screens, all click and play with one button.

I have 2 240 GB SSD Hard Drives

RAMs: I have 2 Aegis 16GB DDR4 3000MHZ CL16 Dual Channel Memory Kit. Total of 32GB DDR RAM

Casing:

DEEPCOOL Matrexx 50 ADD-RGB 4f ATX Mid Tower case

Screens:

I have 2 X LG 32-inch screens, 4 X 28-inch ASUS Screens

I use RBG keyboard and mouse

A comfortable keyboard and mouse are important for a smooth trading experience. Some traders also use specialized peripherals designed for trading.

Internet Connection:

A reliable and high-speed internet connection is crucial for real-time data feeds and quick order execution. Consider a wired connection for stability.

Trading Platform / Software:

Always choose a reputable and reliable trading platform that meets your needs. Ensure it provides real-time data, technical analysis tools, and quick order execution.

My Travel Trading Setup

If you are starting, you can use the same setup as minimum requirements to start your Trading Journey.

I have a Levono Laptop with 2 Portable Screens with Laptop stands. I use it when I am traveling. Whenever I am traveling, I use it from Hotel Lobbies, Airports, and Airbnb, or wherever I am staying. All I need is the Wifi Internet connection to start my office.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:

Backup Power Supply

In case of power outages, a battery backup (Uninterruptible Power Supply or UPS) can give you enough time to close trades or take necessary actions.

Webcam and Microphone:

If you are participating in webinars, video conferences, or trading communities, having a webcam and microphone may be beneficial.

Data Backup and Security

Regularly back up your trading data, and ensure your system has updated security software to protect against malware and other online threats.

Minimum System requirements

I would suggest that you can buy a System (Processor) with a graphics card that can support 4 screens and have a minimum of 16GB RAM. This is good enough to start your journey.
